Get lost in the music as you move to the current and iconic tracks heard in clubs and on the radio. Our Hip Hop Cardio class combines dance moves and toning routines in to an energetic and upbeat class for all alges of adults to enjoy! This class is for anyone that wants to have a good time while working out and feel young doing it. You can expect a mix of dance steps, squats, arm toning, and endurance training through out class.
Please know, no formal dance training is required to take this class. This class is different from our Hip Hop dance classes as you will be working out the entire time and not learning dance technique and putting together choreography. As always, we encourage you to modify up or down depending on your strength, endurance, and ability. Please explain to instructor any past injuries you would like them to be aware of and consider.
Typically 5000-6000 steps / You will focus on endurance along with core and arm strengthening in these classes.
What to wear
We recommend clothes that allow you to move that you aren't afraid to sweat in. Typical attire is leggings and a shirt. Please wear CLEAN athletic shoes free of mud and rocks.
We use 1.5-4lb hand weights for this class. You may use our equipment or bring your own.
