Beginner Jazz w/ Megan
Join Megan for a fun and upbeat beginner jazz class. Enjoy a short stretch session before getting your groove on. (Virtual only class)
Vinyasa Flow w/ Keturah
Vinyasa is a strong practice that builds heat, endurance, flexibility, strength, and mental focus. Flow from one pose to the next while connecting breath with the continuous flow of movement. This class can be challenging, but all levels are welcome! In lieu of yoga props, a small foldable blanket to support the body in certain poses is suggested.
National Dance Day Dance w/ Alyson
Enjoy a beautiful, powerful, and heartfelt class led by Alyson Young. This class is for beginners and intermediate dancers alike. Pulling elements of jazz and contemporary, the dance will be taught to Samantha James - "Rise." (Virtual only class)
1980s Cardio w/ Steven
Get ready to workout to some fun '80s tunes in this cardio and strengthening class. We will celebrate music from black artists this week such as Aretha Franklin, the Pointer Sisters, Janet Jackson just to name a few. (in-person and virtual)
Beg/Int Tap w/ Shanee
Let’s learn the BS Chorus! This is an historic tap dance known by performers from the vaudeville days. Like the Shim Sham, it was a short piece that dancers could perform together after practicing only a short time.
Stretch & Strength w/ Kim
This class will involve exercises to increase mobility, release tightness, and increase strength in various areas of the body. We will focus on specific areas involved in all types of dance as well as functional movement used in daily life. (in-person and virtual) We suggest bringing a towel and small ball such as a tennis ball.
