Come out and celebrate everyone's diversity and PRIDE month @ The Studio in Issaquah. To celebrate, Chris Chirpie Mercado will be teaching a fun beginner-level jazz funk class to Aretha Franklin's popular song "Deeper Love." This fun-filled 75-minute outdoor dance workshop will include elements of waacking and voguing, and will be for beginner and intermediate dancers alike! Bring family, wear your brightest outfits, and let's have some fun! Limited edition "Pride" Studio in Issaquah shirts will be sold at the event. All ages welcome!
"The Studio is a rare place where adults of all shapes, sizes, ages, and abilities are welcome to come and dance. The instructors are highly qualified. Students can expect to find a combination of expert training and encouraging camaraderie." - Susan A.
We offer space for preparing dance, acting, and music for college prep/auditions. Our dance instructors will work with your college-bound teen, whether that is choreographing dance routines, or fine tuning an already choreographed piece to be made ready for filming. Contact us to learn more.
"I gave you the highest score because ever since the first day I walked into The Studio I felt welcome. Dancing at The Studio is more than taking a dance class, it's belonging to a community. All your teachers are so kind and friendly, where everyone is encouraged at their own level. Your classes fulfill my desire to keep learning and growing in my passion for dance and without your Zoom classes during the pandemic, I don't know what I would have done. They are a Godsend for so many reasons. Thanks for all you do at The Studio and give to all your students. I am deeply grateful." - Susie H.
